Hello sunshine! New Mukisoes Sol sneakers are definitely my happy shoes. This color radiates so much positive energy that even the worst day becomes beautiful.
Sol was a big hit in 2020 when it was released for the first time. And this year Sol is back! With new sole, made from 100% natural rubber and with improved fit for feet with less volume.
When I saw the change at Sol, I immediately decided to buy them. And I don’t regret the purchase at all. The shoes are gorgeous.

2. Material characteristics
2.1 Upper
Mukishoes Sol is a 100% vegan shoe. The upper is made from organic cotton in this gorgeous golden mustard colour. The colour is not too shiny or anything. It is just a perfect shade and I adore this colour.
Cotton laces are white and they make a nice contrast to the yellow upper.
The sole is stitched and glued to the upper for added durability.
At the heel part there are added small decorative pull tabs.
2.2 Lining
Sol has one of the most beautiful printings on the lining I have ever seen. Like you would combine green leaves from forest with a sun. The insole is made from organic cotton, which means that only the best materials are touching your skin.
2.3 Sole
The new outsole is made from 100% natural rubber and it is very thin and flexible. Shoes feel extremely light on feet and they give you an amazing ground feeling.
I can twist them in all directions effortlessly.

3. Sizing information
3.1 Length
Sol is an unisex models available in sizes 36-48. I’m wearing size 42 and shoes are true to size. I measure the same internal length of the shoe with Plus12 measure.
My feet are 26.3 cm long and Sol in size 42is 11 mm longer than my foot is. This is around my 12 mm space I usually choose inside the shoe. This space allows me to wear socks in shoes too, without feeling any restrictions.

3.2. Toebox shape & width
Mukishoes shape matches my foot shape extremely well. As you can see I have about the same amount of space in front of all my toes, which is like an ideal for me.
This more rounded toebox shape with milder slope towards the little toe fit the best to feet with the longest second toe or feet with first and second toe the same length. They can also be worn by people with the longest first toe, but there will be more space in front of the little toes.

My feet are 10 cm wide, but with less volume over the ball of the foot. Mukishoes are wide enough for me and all my toes can fully splay in them. Sol will fit the best to medium and medium-wide feet.
If you have more volume over the ball of the foot (bigger circumference), you can fit well in them too.
Mukishoes Sol also has plenty of space above the toes and my toes are not touching the top of the shoes at all, which is great for those who find this part problematic in some shoes.
3.3. Fit around the instep, heel and ankle
The Sol model has been updated since first year when it was released and now it fits better also to shallower feet. The eyelets are still closer than in most of the shoes I have, but I don’t find this disturbing at all. They fit me well also around my ankles and I can comfortably walk in them.
In the photo below you can see a comparison between two very different feet – my feet with low instep and feet with high instep and also with high volume. Regarding the height of the instep and width around the ankles, they will fit well to a wide variety of feet.
If your feet are very shallow and your feet don’t have a lot of volume, you can try to add an insole in them if you will find them too deep for you.
4. Comfort
Sol is comfortable for me from the beginning. I have no complaints here. They also feel so light on my feet. Like wearing nothing at all.
5. How and when to wear them?
Pair your Mukishoes Sol in bright mustard yellow colour with clothes in neutral colors to make them stand out. My favourite way of wearing them is pairing them with cropped jeans and using neutral basic colors such as navy blue, gray, white or black.
